Van Ark Biography

Van Ark is a Producer/Emcee/Experimental Musician from Richmond, Virginia who produces an eclectic range of music from Experimental, Jazz Fusion, Hip-Hop, Electro, and Rock. As a diverse producer, solo artist, and collaborator Van Ark likes to push the boundaries of music and sound. He has performed on and released a variety of albums, and E.P’s, produced tracks and has been featured on various artists’ albums internationally and nationally. More people are recognizing and getting into Van Ark’s music due to the numerous music projects that he has produced independently on his own label, Arkteknologies (USA), and also thru international music labels such as StillMuzik (France), Root70Lounge (Japan), and Filter Label (Macedonia).

Most recently, he has collaborated with a band called the Bionic Megaz! that resulted in a project and various remixes. Van Ark’s consistent output of music has contributed to interviews and increased radio play on stations nationally and internationally. His music can be heard on radio stations in North Carolina, Los Angeles, Virginia, Massachusetts, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Belgium. Currently Van Ark is working on more solo projects, collaborations, and another E.P with his side band The Bionic Megaz!
